Fast
action pass shooting with a European flair. That's what Running
Spring Farm Hunting Preserve & Inn offers the discriminating shot
gunner.

Pheasants are released from a wooded, hidden area. The birds climb
to tree-top height and streak across the sky in all directions.
There are 10 shooting stations 70 yards out surrounding the release
area and pass shooting becomes fast and furious. One or two individuals
per station can be accommodated. Shooters get an opportunity to
harvest birds from each of the 10 stations through a rotation cycle
so everyone has a fair chance to harvest a large quantity of birds.
Four to five boxes of shells per shooter is recommended.

This
European-style driven pheasant shoot is a perfect activity for large
groups, corporate outings or fund raisers. All birds harvested will
be breasted and divided equally among the shooters. A large country-style
lunch or dinner will follow.
- Missouri hunting license is required.
- Preserve permits are offered on site for $5.00 each.
- We recommend a full choke and high brass #6 shot shells.
- Safety goggles or glasses, blaze orange hat and vest are required.
- Bring a cooler to take birds home.
